I love Tavistock by Jack (Hedgehog Class)

I love all the teachers especially Mrs O'Connor and Mrs Haworth. I like playing on the outside apparatus. The tyres are cool as you can climb on them. I love literacy and numeracy because I got an effort certificate for it. My favourite topic in year 1 was castles as we went on a trip to Windsor castle. I have lots of friends at school and enjoy playing with them every day. The assemblies at school are fun and we do lots of singing. I really like it when I get certificates and enrichment stars in assembly, they are great.

I love Tavistock Infant School by Mrs Haworth

Many years ago I started my career in the class which is now Bumblebee. There were only 5 classes then. Mrs O'Connor was a Year 2 teacher and Mrs Mulvanny the Head teacher. I remember Mrs Grace bringing her adorable puppy in and he slipped all over the hall floor. I was called Miss Tiltman and when I got married Mrs Greenland and some other Mums bought me a china bride teddy and groom ornament. After having 2 children and working in other schools I have returned to Tavistock and feel so proud to soon be leading the Early Years!

My Memories by Shona (Mole Class)

I've been in Tavistock for three years. My teachers were Miss Arnold, Mrs Penfold and Mrs Francis. When I go to All Saints I'll miss Tavistock. My memories are tuffy bounce. I enjoyed bouncing on the dalmatian bouncy castle. I remember  my first disco when I boogied boogied boogied. I remember a picture of me on my first day. I made lots of friends. Some of their names are Lilly, Amber, Megan and Anna. I loved mums in school day and dads in school day. I will not be getting another one. I'm very excited about going to All Saints (AS).

Tavistock Infant School by Evan (Hedgehog Class)

I love Tavistock because you learn lots of things and it is a great school to go too.  My favourite subject is castles and building them.  I love it when we get to do PE outside.  I have been lucky and had wonderful teachers and learnt lots of exciting things.  From Fairy tales and people who help us to Castles and how they work.  My best school trip was to Windsor Castle where I learnt lots about how people lived.  My friends are my whole class we like to play together all the time. I love Tavistock School very much.

Tavistock Infant School by Eva (Eagle Class)

My big brother Max went to Tavistock before me.  When Mummy and I came to collect him, I used to ask Mrs Henderson and Mrs Hayes if I could have the left-over snacks.

At Tavistock you learn maths and writing.  You need to know letters and sounds.  The teachers teach you very well.  You learn to read and you read books.  If you read a lot you get certificates.  I have got bronze, silver and gold.

The cooks give you yummy school dinners.  You have lots of friends.  We do cart wheels and handstands together.  It is a nice school.

My School Trip to Windsor Castle by Matthew (Fox Class)

In Year 2 I went on a big coach to Windsor Castle. I was sitting next to Sam on the coach. When we got there we looked around the State Apartments, my favourite part were the Knights riding on horses in their shiny metal armour.
Next we went to the Moat Room and our Teacher, called Sophie, taught us about why castles have murder holes. Ben pretended to drop oil over Will.
After lunch we went to see Queen Mary's Dolls house, I liked that it had five cars in a row in the garage.
It was the best day!
